I searched the forums and saw some discussion about this several years ago, but haven't found a solution. The wiki doesn't list the comment field as a field you can use to build smart playlists. Is there a way to do it or is it a planned feature? Like others have suggested, it would be useful to use the comment field to create smart playlists. I don't have multiple genres listed in my tags, but I do have "moods" listed in the comments.

Any help is appreciated.

1. It would need to be added to the tag readers (reasonably easy)

2. It would need to be added to the database (means extending the songs table + views)

3. It would need to be supported by the smartplaylist parser.

I doubt any current dev will bother to work on this, but you never know.
