hi all
I am using a WORKING m3u file on kodi 15.2 and can watch TV. BUT when I edit the file to remove a channel that isn't working save it to the linux drive as an extention m3u it doesn't work.
here's what I am doing.
I have shared up the linux drive using samba ( ubuntu 15.10) and set the permissions so I can edit the m3u on the windows machine. I open the file in notepad and remove the single entry then I save the file replacing the old one using exactly the same name. I DISABLE the IPTV addon and ENABLE it. Then to make sure I exit kodi and restart. The iptv addon does NOT start the tv app and so TV is missing from the main menu.
what am I doing wrong please?
