Failed update
#1
Guy's,
I know this is the wrong place to post but I hope this is a quick one.
I tried to use the automatic script updater and it failed so I tried the manual process which also failed (internet connection not found) even though I tried twice.
What's the best way of installing the script installer from scratch?
Jimbo.

PS: I would rather not install XBMC from scratch

XBMC cannot be installed from a script

What script/action are you running to generate this error. Or are you doing an update of MC360?

Sorry chunk, I didn't make myself clear in my first post.
I have been unable to update the script installer after I tried the automatic Manditory Update.
XMBCScripts.com reports that if the auto update fails try a manual update. Even after that, my box is still reporting that the internet connection fails.
If there is no quick answer, I will generate and post log's .

I do remember blittan stating that sometimes it initially reports no connection but on a second attempt it does work..I might be wrong..Otherwise you should be able to get the updated from the xbmcscripts.com website and transfer it to your xbox manually.

Hope this helps..

Thanks for the info.
My XBMC build was a couple of months old so I decided to upgrade to the latest T3CH and manualy update the script installer.
All is now fine.
