Not sure if this should be a bug report, or feature request, so I put it here. Please tell me or move it, if it's wrong.
Kodi doesn't seem to support HLS (m3u8) streams with seperate audio tracks. Because of this, streams using: #EXT-X-MEDIA:TYPE=AUDIO sources have no audio.
I assume kodi uses ffmpeg for playing hls streams, and the HEAD of ffmpeg master currently plays the audio streams fine, so it might just require a version bump of ffmpeg. ffmpeg also recently got bugfixes for header (user-agent) handeling of subsequent requests, which would be nice to have included too.
Tested on kodi nightly on OS X and Windows 10.
Tested working with ffmpeg and ffplay HEAD on OS X and Windows 10.
