Hello, I'm upgrading from XBMC 12 to Kodi 16. Problem is: when selecting a file to play, there is a 2 second gap of no audio coming out at the beginning of the file. It happens on every file. This problem is not present on XBMC 12. Tried it on multiple computers, with different receivers and Sound setups.

Current setup:
Mac mini, 10.10.5
HDMI out to Sony Receiver out to Sony TV
Basic stereo sound to a set of speakers (2.0)

Also Tried Mac Pro 10.10.5
HDMI to Krell receiver to projector, 5.1 and 7.1 setup

Played with settings:
Keep audio alive (on / off)
Add audio processors (on / off)
double check default outputs


Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Known issue. It should be greatly improved in the upcoming Kodi v17.

EDIT: granted, it could also be some other things. Offhand, I forget what can be tweaked in settings that might help improve this.

Thanks...If its known can someone post suggestions on what to change in the advancedsettings.xml file? Haven't seen much on this on the forum
