I have been using MQ6 and love it.I upgraded to Jarvis and put in MQ7 and have a major problem.
When I rename a custom menu every time it locks up the menu goes back to default and I loose everything in the menu or sub menu.
This doesn't happen often but once is to much as hours of work are gone. This never happened in MQ6.
I turn it off properly but when it locks I have to turn off in Minix. I hate to delete MQ7 and I have tried different downloads for MQ6 and none work.
Anyway I hope there can be a fix.
Thanks Rocko

It's this skin, always happened. I spent all weekend building up kodi to how I like using this mq7 skin... all weekend!
Ridiculous, I had same problem and I was told to do one menu at a time. Do one menu, go back. To home screen, exit and reboot kodi and do it again for another menu. I also lost count how many times I had submenus show 'empty'. Utter joke of a skin and these problems have been around for years yet still Havnt been fixed.
In the end I gave up and put Titan skin on. Took me less than an hour to build it all up as it uses skin helper and you can add items in addons to menus quick and easy without going into addons and adding them as favourites then adding g that favourite to a submenu. Such a time consuming process. At least with skin helper once I've built menus up I can use different skins such as arctic zephyr, black glass, eminence and even aeon madnox and still have my menus setup and I no longer need to reset them all.
Why this skin does not use it I don't know. It's a time saver and you can do so much with it.

Nice!
glad to see its been looked at. Im staying away from Krypton for a while. Tried a few beta's but too buggy for me.
ill keep an eye out on it when its released, hopefully that clears a lot of issues up with the Aeon skins. I do like Madnox but again, skin refresh issue is a pain.

Emiralles,
I know how to turn off KODI properly but when it locks up the only way to get out is go back to Minix home and restart, unless there is something I'm missing. At this point home menu's default.
If I switch to Krypton and use your MQ7 mod version do you think this will solve the problem?
Thanks Thom
Right now I'm using Jarvis.
