Hi, i have been using Kodi version 16.1 for a couple of weeks, finding my way around. After feeling comfortable with this excellent program i thought that i would upgrade to v17.1. Herein the problem lies ...

After the installation/upgrade Kodi refuses to start. if I 'roll back' to version 16.1 everything runs as before.

I have attached the Kodi.Log file as requested, and any help in this matter would be appreciated.

Go to directory %AppData%\Kodi\userdata\Database, remove Addons27.db and then start kodi again.

Try a clean install as that worked for me.

A proper debug log has to have logging turned on in systems>logging log (wiki)
