The file is located in the userdata/Database folder http://kodi.wiki/view/Userdata (wiki) Userdata (wiki)

just delete the file \Addons27.db

Removing the Addons27.db file works great when Kodi v17.1 won't open after and upgrade in Windows 7. Thank you.

Awesome! Deleting Addons27.db worked for me. I had to restart KODI 17.1 a few time but it finally worked. Thanks.

YEEEEEEEESSSSS!!!

YOU PEOPLE ARE FREAKIN AMAZIIIIIING. I have watched youtube videos, tried the advancedsettings route etc etc.

Been struggling for hours trying to sort this out and all it took was to delete a simple file!!!

Thank you, back to watching movies.

Your kodi log file will likely refer to it if that's the case, so you can just delete that file and kodi should start properly.

tnx man it worked

Not having a lot of good luck. Check these Audio quickstart guide (wiki) Audio settings (wiki) and see if your audio settings match the hardware.

There are dozens of people who do not really understand the techno and need a step by step guide (rather like MJD sites provides for addon downloads etc). They like me can do what they are instructed but need guidance. It is amazing how quickly people can pick it up so long as someone bothers to lead the way.

Just putting the following " as aThe file is located in the userdata/Database folder http://kodi.wiki/view/Userdata (wiki) Userdata (wiki)

just delete the file \Addons27.db " is no good because people don't know where to go.
