I installed Kodi17.1 as requested. However, kodi simply would not start up. I've uninstalled and reinstalled about a dozen times now but Kodi just won't launch. Help.

I should also say I'm using windows 10 in the UK and have disabled the vpn options that interfere with Kodi with my router.

I know that the Version Check Addon shows a one time hint that a new version is available.
There is a Banned add-on (wiki) showing a message more often that older versions aren't supported any more.

That's why I asked.
