H, I'm a new to Kodi (having last used it when it was called XBMC) and have a folder from Emby called "People" which has thousands of jpg actors/actresses thumbs inside. I was just wondering if these can be used somehow in Kodi?. If so where do I stick em?

The actor database can't be edited directly, it will be filled by the scraper whenever a movie or tvshow is scraped. All actors that are scraped will be added to the database, including the actors thumbs. It also means you have no control which thumb an actor is assigned although you can manipulate it by using nfo files. However, everytime the scraper adds an actor that already exists in the database, the thumb will be replaced by whatever the scraper finds.
I think all righthtinking people in this country are sick and tired of being told that ordinary, decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired.
