Hello,

I use kodi 14.2 (openelec) for some time with satisfaction.
I just replaced an old 2.1 home theater by a Sonos Playbar that does not support dts. If I understood, kodi should be able to encode dts in dolby.

I have a PC with hdmi output and spdif optical output. The hdmi output is connected to the tv and the optical output to the playbar.
I have read a lot of topics and I tried to respect the precaunizations but it does not work with dts (no sound in this case)

In the settings / audio output, I have:
Audio Output Device: HDA ATI, hdmi (I have several other output choices)
Number of channels: 2.0
Output Configuration: optimized
Upmix stereo: yes
...
Enable passthrough: yes
Passthrough output device: HDA ATI ... digital S / PDIF
Dolby Digital compatible receiver: yes
Enable Dolby Digital transcoding: yes
Dts compatible receiver: no

Could you help me ?

Settings are fine. No further help possible without a Debug Log.

Make sure AC3 itself is working.

As i was testing today to have a debug file, all worked correctly, including with dts soundtrack. I cannot explain what happened.
