I've an iPad Air and was running jailbroken iOS 8.4 version with Kodi for a few years. My videos were all playing smoothly. Recently, I've upgraded to iOS 10.3.3 (non jailbroken), some of my videos stuttered real bad. Is there any performance difference between Jailbroken & Non-Jailbroken devices for Kodi video playback. I seemed to have read somewhere that certain Kodi video decoding functions require jailbroken devices. Is this true? Appreciate for any input on the subject.
