I tried searching the forums, but did not see an answer.

If one has a Repository with URL: https://Cool.Repo.tv/blah/addons.xml.md5 and now wants to relocate to another domain (along with addon(s) within), what is the best practice ?

Tried to update/bump repo version and modify URL to https://new-cool.repo.tv/blah/*** and addons dont want to install from there, among other things.

You will need to host a copy of the new version of the repo add-on at the original URL, so that folks with the previous version (that still points to the original) can find the update. All other add-ons can be moved, though. Keep it up in the old location for at least 2 weeks, but longer is better.
