This is a basic addon which allows users to access New Zealand Choice TV and HGTV OnDemand content.

Watching content requires either a HGTV or Choice TV account (they are the same as they are both run by the same parent company).

Report any bugs in either this thread or on the GitHub page. This may or may not work outside of New Zealand - that is completely untested.

Is anyone else getting an incorrect username or password message with correct login credentials?

I posted a new release that added debug logging for the login request: https://github.com/TheDiamondPicks/plugi.../1.0.2.zip and https://github.com/TheDiamondPicks/plugi...demand.zip

To debug the request enable debug logging (Settings > System > Logging > Enable debug logging) and look for 'Choice TV Login Debug' or 'HGTV Login Debug' in kodi.log, when you find it post the line here, and I can take a look and see what's going wrong.

Login seems to work now with email address, not username, but I'm getting an error message trying to play anything.

The relevant part on Windows, Krypton 17.6 seems to be:

I'm outside New Zealand, using Smart DNS, but both services work fine in browser.

I can't seem to load that particular show either. Choice TV (and HGTV) don't seem to remove shows from their API when they're not avaliable anymore, instead the website does an availability check, which I'll have to implement when I get a chance (along with renaming username to email).

Choice TV OnDemand 1.0.2 and HGTV OnDemand 1.0.3
Changes:
- Added an availability check so invalid episodes don't appear
- Renamed username to email
- Removed Titan Skin builtin execution

Choice TV seems to work fine now, but I'm getting error messages on HGTV with Buying & Selling, Indoor Spaces and Renovation Projects.

- Fixed a bug when certain video attributes were missing or were empty

Sorry, now I'm getting errors with Choice TV Entertainment, Property and Design and Travel and History, no error messages with 1.0.2.

With HGTV 1.0.4 I get an error with Building Projects, the rest is working fine.

Turns out I made a small typo when copying as pasting code, but it wasn't present in my dev build, woops. Thanks for the help detecting all these bugs by the way.

Choice TV OnDemand 1.0.4 and HGTV OnDemand 1.0.6
Changes:
- Fixed a typo which caused issues with films

Choice TV is working now, but I'm still getting an error message with HGTV category Building Projects, the rest works fine.

Are you able to post a debug log? I can't seem to reproduce the error using the latest Github release.

I deleted and reinstalled HGTV New Zealand and every category is working now.
