Hi all.
I cant get an Android tablet to work as a remote.
I have 2 iPads and and iPhone that work perfectly as remotes with my KODI setup but I also have an Android wall mounted tablet that just wont set up as a remote.
The setup finds a KODI service but it cant connect.
Ive manually input the the name, username, password, ports and mac address but still no dice.
What else can I try to get this working?
Thanks all.

There are two well known android remotes for KOdi, and probably many also rans.
1. Kore - official Kodi project
2. Yatse - freemium remote that has a few extras that Kore doesn't have, but some features cost $
What exactly are you using?

Works for me. Are you sure you have no firewall? And configured everything per the page you were referred to?

Pretty sure mate.
My confusion lies with all the iPads working fine just this android tablet not playing ball.
Really strange.
I’m assuming that if the iPads work the android should shouldn’t it?

Actually I do have AVG running. Maybe that’s causing it. I’ll take a look at that tonight
