Just curious as to why I see a lot of these entries in the debug log when I don't have UPNP enabled.

Configuration is OSMC/Kodi 17.6/Estuary Mod

In Kodi v17 and lower you aren't able to disable the upnp listener. This feature was added in v18 alpha1 (https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/12327).
