Blu-ray (BD-J menu) playback on LibreElec/Kodi Leia ??
#1
All,

Forgive my ignorance.  I've searched online and read many threads about this subject but I'm really at a loss on how to get this to work (or if it's really possible).

I have a couple of boxes running LibreElec and Kodi Leia.  The devices are hard wired to my network and I have a server with 40TB running all of my movies.  Works great.  I also have a library of over 3,000 blu-ray discs (many of which are ripped to the server, but a lot of them are not).  I would like to be able to play a blu-ray disc directly from the BR drive and have a full-functioning disc, complete with menus, etc.  Is this possible??

I've read reports that state Java needs to be installed, but I'm a nOOb when it comes to linux boxes (in this case LibreElec).  So, IF this is a possibility, could someone provide a link to the steps I would take to get this working?  If it's not possible that's fine....I just would like to know for sure what is possible and how to go about implementing it.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read this!!  Smile
