Hi this Ibrahim from Egypt , I'm very interested in this project. Last year I made a lot of search but I made my proposal very late.
Since the project is about re-designing the database and the flow of profile's data in the system,
It would be very helpful if there is an ER Diagram for the database of the system

You can do that yes.

But the team would prefer to rip out all of the old design and completely redo it from scratch.

In that regard, it's pretty important to make a design doc, outlining what profiles should do and what they don't do. And how to achive that with a new design.
