I just loaded your database and ran an Export.
All artist.nfo files were created.
All artist.nfo files were created.

I thought MP3Tag was the best to do this, but I guess I am wrong.(2019-09-28, 01:21)Karellen Wrote: What you gave me does not match the screenshots.Ignore. Now that I have your DB, I can see the bigger picture.

(2019-09-28, 03:40)shedrock Wrote: I also just used picard, cleared all the tags and then re-scanned but no nfo files being created on Windows.I don't even know where to begin trying to fault find this. It is specific to your setup, and it is extremely difficult doing this remotely.

Using Mp3tag is fine (I use it sometimes too), but the script it is using to add mbid tags also needs to add ARTISTS and ALBUMARTISTS tags so that when songs have more than one artist their names and mbids can be correclty matched. You could address that manually, or maybe just using Picard could be easier.@DaveBlake - Thank you for your response. I will definitely look into this today and see if I can figure it all out.

It is a Single file option. ie. 1 file regardless how many songs, albums, artists you have. And you have been using Single file for your imports, so what made you think you get nfo files in addition?

I should have read the entire Wiki page on music library setup, but I did read up on the naming conventions and folder structures. Anyway, that still doesn't resolve my LE issues, but I will keep trying.
Read the wiki page!!!!!

If you do, then I rely on members like you to point out any issues on the wiki page that could be improved. So if you have read it a couple of times, and it is still confusing point out where the bottleneck is and I can try to reword. Sometimes what makes sense in my head is garbage to the rest of the world
