Hi

I use smartdnsproxy for streaming services, however I also have a local Plex server and the Kodi add-on cannot connect to my server.
The standard Plex app does work. All other Kodi add-on apps work except the Plex add-on.
Please advise what could be the issue and if their is a way to fix it?

nVidia Shield TV 2017 - Latest Software
KODI 18.5 and Plex Add-on - Allow insecure connection on same network
Router: Mikrotik RB750 r2 hEX lite with Openwrt 19.07.0-rc2
DNS Settings: smartdnsproxy configured in router
Firewall port forward

Our VPN Policy (wiki) also applies to such DNS proxy usage, as Kodi does not need them for its normal intended usage.

You are using something third party to us which is screwing up operation. Thus it's down to you and whoever is providing that third party service to resolve the issue. Our only supported solution would be to not use it.
