I want to install:
http://code.google.com/p/xbmc-favorites/downloads/list
XBMC Favorites Installer for Linux v.1.4.zip

I cannot find the plugin directory? Any ideas?

hi david!
you need to use the mc360 skin (download before)
from there go into programs section and select new source.
your plugin directory should be selectable there.
choose your favourites plugin (which you downloaded before to f.e
$HOME/.xbmc/plugins/programs/favourites) and press ok
now right click the new favourites source and put it into your favourite programs
when you now switch back to mayhem-skin you have it under your favourites.

Uhm, you do NOT need to use MC360 to use plugins. I wouldn't recommend using that monstrosity at all.

That is correct. ANY SKIN that has a programs section will work. I know AEON still does and if i remember from reading the changelog from yesterday pmIII for linux/mac/windows now has the option to enable programs for just such use.

as long as $SKIN can find the plugin it doesn't matter which $SKIN is used imho.
as mc360 can, i don't see a reason why i shouldn't mention it.
and yes, it is a monster Smile
