Library NAS ip change (Dynamic)
#1
Hi , I have small nas serve with dynamic IP not statics (Local)

So when the router reboots The IP address change (Last number for device connected)

So I was forced to Edit the Library Source and change old nas IP to new manual

Is there any way to do this automatically ?.

If you log into your router, you can reserve a DHCP address for your NAS. All you need is the MAC Address for the NAS (you should see it in the list of connected clients in your Router). Then, every time your router reboots, it will always apply the same local ip address to the NAS.

You should also do this for any hardware running Kodi.

Google your router model for instructions. It's usually called DHCP Reservation Lease Info, DHCP Client Lease Info, or something similar.
