Dav,

I'm having the same problem that Jackb was having. My remote works with your program, but all of the keys except power come up "Not Assigned".

I'm not sure exactly where I got my copy of the x10net.dll, I think it came with the basic drivers pack for my snapstream firefly remote.

Date: 3-9-2008
Version: 3.0.0.236
Location: C:\Program Files\Common Files\X10\Common

Is this actually a problem with the dll file, or is it something else? I can only find 3.0.0.180 online and you have posted that this version doesn't work correctly.

Please Help.

Dear Atlantis Citizen (Rodney),

Here is the correct DLL, for your remote.

Please give your feedback ;-)

Does this software get along with the ATI Remote Wonder app running at the same time? I need the ATI app for use with BeyondTV.

As Melloware said :

Melloware Wrote:here is a known list of X10 RF based remotes that should work with Dav's app.

o ATI Remote Wonderâ„¢
o ATI Remote Wonderâ„¢ PLUS
o SnapStream Firefly
o NVIDIA Personal Cinema Remote
o Marmitek PC Control
o Pearl Q-Sonic Master Remote 6in1
o Niveus PC Remote Control
o Medion RF Remote Control
o Packard Bell RF MCE Remote Control OR32E

The only thing I can say is : Try it.
If it does'nt work -> Uninstall it ;-)

Dav.

It works really well with my setup along with the ATI remote app running at the same time.

The only issue I have is that it appears that its listening for all channels for a remote instead of being able to lock it down to one like the ATI app. I have problems in my house with getting random signals received by the remote where it will shut down the running applications. Is it possible to lock your app to 1 channel?

thanks
chris

There is no channel in this app.
I don't know what you talking about because I don't have a ATi remote
and of course no ATi App, to test it. I need more information about channels
and your ATi remote.

Andidvb,

Sorry I don't understand German.

All DLL version must be :
Date : 27/09/2006
Version : 3.0.0.208
Wheight : 1.22Mo
Location : "C:\Windows\System32\"

Try to find this one as well and replace it :
C:\Program Files\Common Files\X10\Common\

PLEASE MAKE A BACKUP FIRST !!!

channel was the wrong term, its the remote id. Its only supposed to be needed if you have more than on X10 remote in the house but I only have one and am getting interference from something else.

If setting a remote id is not possible, is it possible to disable the power button operation?

thank you
Chris

Hello Chris,

Nope there is no ID with this remote (or I never knew about this).
It's impossible to disable the power button only for one person, but as soon
I have time to make something to assign button action, I will do it, I promise.
