Support WSL directory
#1
Hi!

I'm using Kodi on Windows 10, and my data folder is mounted with fuse using WSL 2 (Windows Subsystem for Linux).
However, Kodi is not able to read these files.

Using WSL2, I'm mounting my data to /home/me/data
Thanks to this "new" future of Windows 10, I can access this folder using Windows explorer at location \\wsl$\Ubuntu\home\me\data
However, when I open this folder using Kodi, it says it's not possible to access it. The log mention:
Code:
ERROR: XFILE::CDirectory::GetDirectory - Error getting \\wsl$\Ubuntu\home\me\data\

Is there a way to support this WSL link for Kodi? This type of file will be more and more frequent because Windows anchors Linux in his environment (especially with the arrival of Windows 11).

I found in the meantime a solution, which is to assign the address \\wsl$\Ubuntu to a network drive  Smile
