I don't see the end of my films
#1
Hi everybody,
I have the following problem: I have some movies on my NAS as an MP4-file not cutted. That means ads and some minutes before the movie began on the channel are also on the file. When I watch a movie, the end is not shown because KODI stopps after 1 hour 25 minutes for an example when the movie duration officially is 1 hour 25 minutes. Because of the ads and the minutes before the movie started, I don't see the end of the movie. But when I start the MP4-file directly on the NAS the movie is complete but I would need to watch about 2 hours, not only 1 hour 25 minutes. Can I fix this problem somewhere with a change of preferences? When yes, where? I would appreciate when someone could help me with this. Thanks a lot.

Normally there is no reason for Kodi to stop at 1 hour and 25 minutes. It should play to the end of the film.

One cause is because you have an EDL file for the movie?... https://kodi.wiki/view/Edit_decision_list

You will need to provide a Debug Log that captures the film stopping.

Debugging wasn't enabled: 2022-06-02 13:10:28.670 T:15598 INFO <general>: Disabled debug logging due to GUI setting. Level 0.

Enable debugging in the GUI, restart Kodi, and then reproduce the error(s). Then provide the new log file.
