Dear All,
on my Ubuntu/kodi System I face a strange Audio behavior.
I have connected the TV through HDMI card.
In addition the PC does have a analog Audio device.
Obviously kodi should use HDMI, which is configured inside kodi as output.
Unfortunately every new playback starts with Analog audio.
To fix it I have to go into Ubuntu`s sound system settings and map kodi Application to HDMI,
after pressing OK sound is working. (So no change in Kodi`s settings needed)
It seems like Ubuntu is reverting every output to Analog Audio,
although kodi is configured to HDMI output...
This happens everytime I start a new playback or switch to another titel,
for music, videos and live-TV (PVR)
Ubuntu 18.04; 4.15.0-194-generic
kodi 19.04
Pulseaudio Server Version 11.1
I tried to set the default sink to the HDMI port with pactl,
but this did not change the behavior.
Any ideas, how I could permanently map kodi to HDMI output?
Thanks for your help in advance.
