Linux Kodi starts on wrong monitor
#1
Everything was fine until a glib upgrade obsoleted tint2. I switched to xfce4-panel and the trouble started. I'm running plain Openbox, HDMI is primary and DP1 is above it. The panel is running on top of HDMI. Somehow it is making all programs to start on HDMI. Once started I can drag them up to DP1. Kodi has DP1 in setup, but whatever environment change xfce4-panel is doing Kodi is honoring it and starting on HDMI. When I kill xfce4-panel then Kodi starts on DP1 as configured.
Does someone know how to get Kodi to ignore this pesky panel?
