Hi. On my Fire TV 4k max I can't resolve the issue of having a kind of micro stutter on all add ons streaming from Hulu Disney Paramount Peacock etc. The audio cuts out for about half a second on all streams (there is no stutter when playing Kodi files from USB files). I've tried switching Best Match Optimized and Fixed. I've tried changing Audio Passthrough off and on. I've got keep audio alive enabled with the send noise enabled. I've tried enabling Dolby Digital transcoding. I've tried changing the fire tv from Best Available to Dolby Digital Plus. I've tried playing the sound on TV speakers only.
I also tried all of the above with Kodi on my Hisense tv and get an even worse audio micro stutter on that.
As all other sources on the Fire TV and my Hisense tv play with no stutter.
This is driving me nuts as I now have no idea what to do.
I tried to add an advancedsettings.xml file to increase the cache/buffer size but even when file managers are set to show hidden files, nothing shows up at all for Kodi so I can't even try that. Is there anything else I can try? Thanks very much.
