Remote for KODI running under LibreElec on Intel NUC?
#1
I'm building a KODI player for my mother.  I'm using LibreElec on an Intel NUC.  It works fine with the keyboard and with MY Logitech Harmony 650 but I would like to find a simple remote that will work with the built in IR receiver on the NUC.  I bought a DELL RC260 remote that I thought was Media Center compatible but it's not doing anything.

I tried using the KeyMap Editor addon but it's not responding to key presses on the RC260 remote.  It times out after 5 seconds.

Can someone point me in the right direction-either recommending a remote that will work out of the box OR what I need to do to make KODI/LibreElec work with this RC260 remote.

I use Minix A2 lites because it's plug&play, maybe something that works for you.
Otherwise I think you'll have better chances posting in the libreelec forum.

This might be a consideration https://flirc.tv/products/skip1s-remote-...9094729960

This post is best handled in hardware.

I ordered the Skip 1s remote..

It took some tinkering to find the right device for LibreElec (Misc / Microsoft / MCE Media Center Code Group 2) but it's working great.

Thank you.
