Running Kodi version 20.3.2 on Android. Just got a new smart Sony TV. Using NVIDIA Shield, with recently updated software. IPTV Simple will not load channels. Tried several others with same result. When trying to load channels I get error message: Failed to load channels: Server connection error. Please use valid M3U or XSPF playlist. Have looked at the Kodi Wiki page and am confused. Do I need a tuner card and / or a backend
Or both? Do not have cable tv channels, only internet, which is very strong and fast. Please respond to me as if I am your favorite uncle, but talk to me like a 5 year old. Please tell me exactly what to buy and / or how to configure to get Live TV. My goal is to get the national feed from all the major networks so I can watch network sports and live shows.
