Req How to prevent the background image from darkening in videoplayer
#1
When I'm watching a video and open the video settings window to correct the brightness and contrast the background image gets darker. This distorts the image and makes it impossible to adjust correctly. Would it be possible to create a setting to disable this? And if not, what script must be modified so that the background image does not darken when the video adjustment window is displayed?
Thanks.

Oof... Yeah, that's a problem Eek

I can hide it when the slider dialog is open when changing brightness, contrast, etc. Or should I get rid of it altogether whenever a video is fullscreen?

It would be enough to hide it when the slider dialog is open when changing the brightness, contrast, etc.
Thank you so much.

Noticed the same thing recently when adjusting subtitle offset so this probably applies to more than just video adjustments.

Subtitle offset uses the same slider dialog so it will hide when adjusting that as well.
