Hello!
Running Kodi 20.1 Omega \ Win \ Arctic Zephyr Reloaded Skin.

Current state: Movies that are in Movie Sets are not displayed in the Movie List individually, but their Movie Sets are instead.
Desired state: Movies are displayed in the Movie List individually [required]. Movie sets are available normally via Movie Sets, and are not listed in the Movie List [if this can't be done, I could live with the way it is now].

Settings > Media > Videos > Disable 'Movie sets'.

Self-resolved.
If anyone needs it, setting is under Settings\Library\Videos\Show movie sets, set to off to achieve the desired state as described above. Setting may be different for other skins than the one mentioned in the question.

Thank you, we figured it out practically simultaneously in parallel.
Only the setting is reached slightly differently in the Arctic Zephy Reloaded skin.
