[SlaveUnit]

I have noticed that no matter what ISO I play it reverts back to the menu before it is done playing. It kills about a full second or 2 at the end. I have tried this on 2 Windows machines with the latest SVN and also the 8.10 release. It also happens on the xbox version. Has anyone else comes across this? I know it isnt the easiest thing to notice because usually at the end of a file there are credits so you will not notice a second or 2 missing. Im guessing in that this is a problem with the iso/img mounting portion built into XBMC? Would love to know any fix or workaround for this. Thanks everyone.

Here is a 145M iso file of a menu and the movies trailer. Once downloaded and started select "Special Features" and the go to "Original Night of the Living Jews trailer". I know its not the best movie but it'll do. Warning: there is a second or 2 of nudity in the trailer.
You will notice if you watch this in VLC or another program that at the end a rabbi gets punched. With XBMC it cuts off before this. Please let me know if you you are getting the same results if you deicde to try this. Thanks for your time everyone.

so make a debug log while playing that file, post it here so people can already take a look, after somebody can verify this, then post a ticket to trac so more dev's can take a look at it.

I have the exact same problem. Last weekend I was playing Scene It! on dvd and you are supposed to get 30 seconds to guess something about a movie clip. After the 30 seconds you are then given the correct answer. On all three of my xbmc boxes (all with recent svn builds) it stops at 7 seconds to go on the 30 second countdown. Needless to say this behavior makes it impossible to play the game. I had to drag out my old dvd player to get it to work.

Ok so it got closer. The video will now finish but in the last second there is no sound.
