Hey Guys,
I plan on getting a PCI sound card that supports dolby digital live as I want to play PC games that have 5.1 sound and convert them in realtime to Dolby digital 5.1 sound straight to my av receiver. At the same time I would like the card to be able to play AAC 5.1 to dolby digital 5.1 sound and DTS 5.1 to dolby digital 5.1 sound. If I can get a sound card like that will it work in xbmc?
I know that currently your sound codecs do not support real time encoding of DTS 5.1, or AAC 5.1 to DD 5.1. I know plex supports it. But I wonder if I had this sound card would it work?

Terratec Aureon 7.1 PCI Sound Card I can get this for £12. I don't know if it supports AAC to DD 5.1, anyone know?
Can any of you recommend me a good quality budget sound card that can do what I've posted above and work in xbmc?
