Can anyone post a built, which already has the native media flagging, which I understand made it into the recent SVN? Thanks!!!

I get my SVN builds from here: http://www.sshcs.com/xbmc/

Yesterday's build is a 75% improvement on the Mac mini (2009 model). Native Media Flagging included Big Grin Thanks go out to the builder. Nod

Do the OS X builds from http://www.sshcs.com/xbmc/ work on the ATV?

yes and if you update to launcher 3.1, they will show up in the downloads section.

I only see build r20621 when I download launcher 3.1 - no sign of http://www.sshcs.com/xbmc being mentioned

Edit: ah -> http://www.xbmc.org/forum/showpost.php?p...ostcount=1
You need to add the path to his xml file which contains his build information

Cheers!

Hello everybody,

I recently installed XBMC 9.04.1 on my old PPC Mac Mini, and it is great for all the basic functionalities, however some plugins do not work properly (e.g., the Justin.tv plugin).

In http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=51981 there is a message emphasized in red: "If you are experiencing audio problems or xbmc crashing, you need to update to XBMC rev20937 or higher".

Obviously I might try to build it on my own, but since I have never done it before I guess it would be a long task and with an uncertain result.

So, my question is: can anyone who has the environment already setup for building the .dmg for PPC so kind to do it and share the package with everyone else?

I believe there are many people like me who want to re-use old Mac Minis as media centers and who experience similar problems.

thanks a lot in advance!!

Just want to say "Thank You!" for your efforts around SVN on the ATV. From Launcher 3.1's ease of use, the quality of the Build Notes (new detail and format is great), and the quality of the last few SVNs (Back to stability for me at least for iPhone Remotes to Plugins)

Thanks for all this great work!
AppleTV 3.0.2, iMac 10.6.2, Launcher 3.2.4, (AppleTV Installed with Launcher), SVN: XBMC 9.11 (R26018).

What do the build notes look like? Lol try to keep them formatted the same on my site from day to day but sometimes I have to revert to the win32 notes which look nothing like the *nix notes..

You can see the raw output I use for OSX @ http://www.sshcs.com/xbmc/inc/eva.asp?mode=ONRaw

I'm not sure if they are using that for Luancher 3.1 but I am curios to see how it looks.

also is there anyway to install ITV over or onto say 10.4.11?

i would like to see it, but have no desire to buy one.

Thanks

Either way is fine with me.

My ATV is actually running the standard (V2) stripped down version of 10.4 with the NitoTV Hack, however, many have stock 10.4/5 running per the following http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/f98/541.htm , I unfortunately cannot comment on how well it works.

ok that looks like my win32 builds notes that I used on that build Sad

Normally it looks more like this

2009-06-30 21304 fixed: Typo
2009-06-30 21303 changed: renamed advancedsettings.xml variable cleanfilenames to cleanstrings
2009-06-30 21302 [WIN32] removed leftover from the usb drive letter detection workaround
2009-06-30 21301 cleanup: cosmetics from the recent GUIEditControl changes.
2009-06-30 21300 fixed: [WIN32] - Solution file didn't load in VS 2008 Express, and had some additional unnecessary build configurations.
2009-06-30 21299 fixed: win32 build errors.

But if you would rather the other way let me know and I'll start using that format for all the build notes.

Thanks

A very easy question here. I downloaded the latest built and attempted to copy&paste into my application folder. It says that the xbmc_helpers is running and doesnt allow this action. Any thoughts?
