You need an svn build for auriga google for either T3ch or xbmc nightly builds.
Either of these sources are ok. but even then you will still have to manually set your home screen backdrops if your using Auriga on xbox, it's not rocket science and is very easy to do "Honest"

Can you tell me how to manually set my home screen backdrops?

I don't think it's that complicated, I must be missing something.
