Ok, that looks pretty good.
If you press o on keyboard when playing it says that VDPAU is in use?
I guess upgrading XBMC is what remains then.
I do not use Live on my Asrock but you could see if it this do anything:
sudo update
sudo upgrade
If not
Search on live and "bleeding" or svn, there is plenty of threads about upgrading live to latest unstable.

EDIT:
Sorry,
My installation does NOT work with HD for the moment.
I just made apt-get upgrade and the killasample stopped working.

I have tested the new SVN
pre-9.10 r21809 (Jul 21)
I can confirm that it works with VDPAU and HD on ION 330.
AND so do 9.04.1 r20654 (Latest stable).
If it does not work for you something else is wrong.

hi,
could anybody figure out why 1080P mkvs get stucking in evry couple of 10 seconds on a netto 330 (cpu is below 30%, VDPAU used) while a normal BD player can play it smoothly? It is quite annoying for me.
I have installed the newest nvidia drivers but nothing has changed.
I have XBMC live hdd install

To all of you; Make sure you are using a recent version of XBMC (SVN). If not you will experience stuttering video. Also use the latest Nvidia drivers.

If you have 512mb allocated to the video card AND dual channel memory AND latest SVN XBMC AND latest 185.x NVIDIA driver then it will be fine, if not then start swapping hardware starting with your RAM

Where are you playing these video files from ?
if you stream them from a network resource that might be the problem..

ok, finally I could figure it out, with the latest XBMC and not the newest nvidia drivers I could set up a 42LG6000@24Hz and XBMC very pretty.
Thanks!

I have almost the same setup with Zotac IONITX-A-U and the most up to date NVidia driver. Looks like it plays normal BD OK, but it has problems with interlaced 1080i content and 30fps BD content. I was told by some insiders that XBMC has the problem with de-interlace with VDPAU. They suggested that to try mplayer. Does anybody have any idea about this?
