xbmc nightly builds
#16
I carried on digging. The reason your suggestion worked is that the nightly build installer comes with system\players\dvdplayer\avutil-49.dll but the nightly build patch "Windows Archive" comes with system\players\dvdplayer\avutil-50.dll.

Guess it's just a case of updating the installer to package the correct dll avutil-50.dll).

Curiously, does anyone else notice that the "media" folder on the nightly build is now called "mediza"?

I haven't found any precompiled svn builds since 24368 from http://www.xbmcsvn.com other than the official Alpha2 on the site which is 24542.

Time to setup the SVN repository and see if I can compile it myself.

Hi There

Just want to make sure I get this right before I go and screw something up again.... I am running a older dx version of the Nightly build on my win7 32 with intel graphics its the only one I have got to work with the Aeon Showmix,,,,, I would like to upgrade my nightly build to be the latest one, to do this do I just download the new build, copy and paste into c:/progfiles/xbmc folder replace the files and done ?

Installing over the top works for me, just backup your xbmc user folder - usually in C:\Users\XXXXXXX\AppData\Roaming\XBMC

Using xbmc-r33324-Dharma_beta1(exciting) on WinXP_32. So far looking good!

I found that if you listening to music with the milkdrop visualization on and you minimize that XBMC goes black and stays like that until you kill&restart. DirectXspectrum works fine, waveforms shows nothing, can`t see big difference in log.
Anybody else same experience?

Ingeon, can you start a new thread in the Windows forum with this problem.
I have an idea why that happens, I'm just surprised the two other vizes work fine.
And please include a complete debug log.
