I've had my XBMC for a few months and need to upgrade to a bigger HD. I followed Techfreaks.org installing a new hard drive. I can get the Xbox HD Maker to run and after it formats the partitions, it can't find my C and E drives on the boot CD. I know they're there and followed his instructions to the T.
Once the partitions are ready I get this:
"Searching for files .... [Error]
You will need to replace the CDROM with the one containing the C-, and E-drive files.
Insert source CDROM and push [Enter]"
The CD I used to boot has those on it. I also burned another CD with those files just for this error. No luck.
Here are the instructions: http://www.techfreaks.org/articles/modxbox2.shtml
They are pretty simple and following it correctly. I've checked the CD on several computers.
I'm cloning it to a 500 GB Western Digital IDE drive. I'm using a Dell Optiplex 620 for the grunt work. The HD is set to Primary Master/No Slave Present and this is the only hard drive in the computer.
Please help. I don't know why it doesn't work.
