I have a problem that not all tv shows are recognised. I copied these file and folder names and to me they look similarly formatted:

A Dutch TV show called "Gooische Vrouwen" works fine
folder: Z:\Series\Gooische Vrouwen\season 1\
file: Gooische_vrouwen.S01e01-02-03-04.iso

But Heroes doesn't work
folder: Z:\Series\Heroes\season 1\
file: Heroes.s01e01-02.iso

Except for the capital S I don't see a difference. Funny thing is that media info plus does see the two Heroes episoded. I then rescanned my video library on my XBMC system and it won't show these two episodes?

A debug log will tell you exactly why it's not working for you. Look on the wiki, or in the support forum for your given platform to instructions.

It's most likely related to the scraper, or the existance of an nfo file.

Thanks. I was not aware that this can also be found in the log. I'll run it.
