Good way to have extras with a movie?

Just to help those that aren't aware (and somebody expressed a reluctance to rip an entire DVD because they preferred compressed movies)....

It's entirely possible and very easy to keep DVD functionality and structure in an ISO with compressed video with tools like DVDShrink (and many more).

I'm sure most are aware of this, but some aren't. So at least this way, you can retain extra DVD features/footage without the burden of full size DVD iso.

p.s. the compression ratios are configurable, so if you really need it in 600meg you can have it, but if you want to retain good quality you can settle for 1.2Gig or so

And if you really want to split out the individual extras to make h.264 mkv's, you can use sets to keep the movie and all its extras together. That's what I do (unless I really like the menus keep the whole DVD like AnalogKid suggested) and it works well.
