my question is actually quite simple... does xbmc support 5.1, 6.1 or 7.1 audio atm? been readin faq and lot of other stuff but can't seem to find if it does =p...

xbmc (and i assume the ms dash) can pass through the greater than 5.1 channel ac3 and dts streams (or at least there is nothing theoretically stopping it!
it cannot however, to my knowledge, encode in dd ex or anything like that.
