It won't be called an "app" anything. Nor will it be called a "store".

Once the basic layout is finalized (probably after Camelot is out) we'll certainly be looking to keep things as open as possible, as always.

I definitely prefer other terms above "app" (extensions?). Is there a release date for Camelot yet? I would love to have something like this. Extensive/stable plugins are the only things my XBMC is lacking, and hopefully a plugin repo would go a long way towards fixing that.
