I'm in the Latest Alpha, I had thought I had seen a spot to indicate using a External player instead of the built in one and a place to browse to the player to select it. I cannot find such a setting. I do fine where you can right click on a vid and specify you want an external or internal player playing it, but no place to indicate which external you are using.. Can anyone help?

Its hard trying to find info about this so I will help ya out,,,,, I too had the same problem you are having.

Go here http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=HOW-TO_use_a...nal_player ...and understand how your Advancesettings.xls or playercorfactory.xls works depending on your version of xbmc.

Then go here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P858uXgeZTg .... watch this video, I used this method and replace the kmplayer with MPCHC or VLC.

Then when you are in your video library and select the movie you want to watch, hit C and select "Play Using", it will then give you a list of players you want to use.....

When you find out how to set which video player as the default for all video, let me know.
