Guys,
Im currently running XBMC 9.04 on my Win7 x64 box. What is the best method to install the 9.11 beta? Should I uninstall my 9.04 installation and install 9.11b or install 9.11 over 9.04?
Thanks
Whats the proper method to install 9.11 beta

The two versions have incompatible databases so leaving your profile folder intact will do nothing for you.
Your best bet is to completely remove your old version and install XBMC fresh. That way, you are guaranteeing that no old settings/files can potentially screw it all up for you. Not sure what gave you that idea, the database should be upgraded fine. Just be sure to back up your profile as they are not backwards-compatible.

theuni,
are you saying I can install over the existing 9.04 installation? |

Yes. Backup your profile directory first, just in case.
