i have a apple tv box with an BCM70012 crystal hd card build in.
i have some issues to get it running.

my configuration:
- apple tv box with Software 3.0.2 running
- xbmc PRE-10.5 r32894M (Aug 18 2010) running
- dmesg | grep -i crystal gives me:
crystalhd_hw_open: setting up functions, device = Link
Starting Crystal HD Device
Stopping Crystal HD Device
BroadcomCrystalHD: Found HW and started driver SW.

kextstat | grep crystalhd gives me:
nothing (kextstat seems not to be installed?!)

grep -i crystal /Users/frontrow/Library/Logs/xbmc.log gives me:

my questions:
i could not locate programm to get an output from there kextstat.
How can i install it to get the information out? where is the kextstat located?

how could i get more information whats wrong?
how could i get my card running?
i am not sure, but i think the drivers are not loaded.
i cannot select crystal hd from the video settings playback menu.

how can i get the latest build from the svn (nightly builds) to my apple-tv box?

and, last but not least, is there a list of the versions from xbmc for apple out there?

i have a CrystalHD Driver r36 link in my download section. when i select it, it downloads about 1 M and returns an message: an error ocurred.

thanks for your reply. i was able to install it manually. I've runned into a new problem, whenever i play an mkv file i can hear sound, but no video was playing.

when i use the launcher to download crystalhd, it downloads and terminates with an error-message.

an ideas for that?

Does anyone have the guide that was posted in the original link?
