Now I Realise This Is Going To Sound Like A Stupid Question To Most Of You, But Forgive Me, I Am New To This. Anyway, Can Anyone Please Tell Me Where The Directories Are In Linux (Ubuntu 9.10) That I Can Install Plugins Into? I Know It Is Posted Elsewhere As " ~/ .xbmc/music/plugins" Ect. But That Doesn't Tell Me Where To Go.

What I Mean, Is It Something Like home/user/bin... ? Because I Really Don't Understand Where To Put Them.

I'm Sorry To Ramble On And On, But I Really Have No Clue What I'm Doing When It Comes To This.

i try to install svn repo installer but fails.i extract rar file and copy its contents to ./xbmc/user/plugins.what i am doing wrong?

you need to put the repo in ~.xbmc/plugins/programs

thanx for reply.got svn repo installed.but when i try to install some plugins i get this error :
SVN repo installer ERROR
iteration over non- sequence.how i fix it?
