Tried updating my library today, and it failed on me, been trying for some time wondering if people are having the same problem, I have to use thetvdb cause i got anime, and the rest of the sites like imdb tv don't have any animes listed.:mad:

Are the issues you are experiencing with first-time scans of a program or do all scans fail, even previously existing scans?
mythicalLibrarian, my BASH program which renames mythtv recordings, keeps a database of thetvdb on every series it looks up. I never really know when thetvdb.com goes down because I'm always recording the same shows. Maybe XBMC can adopt a similar system. I think peer to peer would be a great thing for this.
