Hello,

I just instaled XBMC 9.11 - Windows 7. Everything looks OK except Fanart. Preview posters works fine, cast looks fine, plot text is OK, genres too, but Fanart downloading is broken. I am desperade now. Can anyone help me please?

Looks like XBMC cant store files to Thumbnail/Fanart folder. I havent any clue why, other folders in Thumbnail are filled by movie posters.

Since you are using the last public release, it could be that the scraper involved with pulling down fan art isn't working anymore.

My suggestion first is to go into XBMC and enable debug logging from the system options area. The log you got is just a general log and doesn't have all the information when debug logging is turned on.

Then, we should be able to see bit more of what's going on.

I look to debug enabled log.. Seems to scraper get the right values:

I dont know what to do.. I try even start XBMC under Administrator account and run it as Administrator... Still doesnt work...

The problem is caused by tmdb's api change.
They have been notified, and the problem should be fixed within 24 hours.

Just wait a couple days, you'll be fine :-)

My fanart isn't working either. I wouldn't have notice normally except I just set up an Acer Revo and I've been kicking myself thinking there was a setting I was missing. Glad to know it's a recognized problem.

am experiencing similar things with themoviedb.org ...not just with fanart .. but with covers as well .. any news on the fix yet?

Thanks krowie. Didnt notice that. So we must just dont change anything, sit down, relax, and then rescan library.

yes thats right .. after you replace the tmdb scraper with the new one posted on that thread .. just rescan and it will all work
