Videos don't play in Library Mode
#1
Hope someone can help.
I have my movies in the following structure:
\\NAS\FamilyLibrary\FamilyVideos\Movies\Burn After Reading (2008)\VIDEO_TS

When I browse this in file mode, I can select the vob and everthing works fine. However when using Library Mode, the films are shown but clicking on them just makes the screen flash and nothing happens. The movies display correctly (correct box art etc)

Provide a debug log. That is not a debug log.
http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Log..._Debugging

Host the log on pastebin.com and post a link here.

Also note that the library initiates DVD folder playback from the VIDEO_TS.IFO file exactly like it was a disc. It does not initiate playback from a VOB directly which you state works from files view. Try playing the VIDEO_TS.IFO file from files view.

kraqh3d,
Many thanks for the help.
Your correct, the IFO doesn't play in file mode, same problem. (VOB plays fine)

I've uploaded to pastebin:

Just confirmed that the IFO files play fine when opened with VLC

Also, just tested Boxee on the same system and files and it works fine.

I expected that. Open a trac ticket, include the VIDEO_TS.IFO file, and the specifics about the version you're running, it works under Boxee, etc.
